This cute little Road Trip Case was a Christmas present for the daughter of a friend. I had really been looking for a reason to buy this pattern at Noodlehead and it seemed like it would make a good gift for an elementary schooler with a lot of important stuff to tote around.
You can see that it comes with a bunch of handy pockets of different shapes and sizes. I was a little concerned that I wouldn't be able to get that binding around the edge tidy enough with all those layers, but it came together pretty neatly. It was fun to mix and match the fabrics.
I test drove it with some cross-stitch supplies. This would come in handy for me since I keep all this stuff in a ziploc bag. Classy.
My friend said her daughter immediately gathered up all her art supplies and fit them into all the little spaces for the big road trip to the grandparents! I'm so pleased it got used right away!
This was a fun project I would definitely make again.
